Taxal Scouts are heading to South Korea!

You may not be aware but two of our Explorer Scouts, Casper and George, have been selected to represent the High Peak at next year's World Scout Jamboree in South Korea. This is an amazing opportunity but, first, they need to raise the funds to pay for all of the associated expenses.

They, along with the another three Scouts from Buxton, will be running a "Ride To Korea" sponsored event, where the 5 of them will be attempting to cycle the distance from Gradbach to SaeManGeum (5,576 miles!) over the next few months. You can read more about it on our new fundraising page.

We will be sharing regular updates on their journey and, hopefully, in 4 years time one of the current Beavers/Cubs will have the opportunity to attend.
